Jumper: Primark
Shirt: George
Jeans: Warehouse
Boots (not really seen): New Look

Adding colour to my outfits this season has been a complete myth for some reason. Black has clearly won me over. However, when I spotted this jumper in Primark, I just needed to have it. Paring it with a plain, white, crisp shirt gave it a smart yet casual look that I absolutely adored and received a lot of compliments from.

The new time zone is really not on my side as it gets so dark easily and I come home late because I usually stay in the library after school to revise. Oh well, this will have to do.

Enjoy..

Dark Knit

As I Recently stated in my previous post, I'm an avid lover of the colour black , so I thought I'd create a look with some of the items I'm loving and hoping to purchase in the next upcoming weeks. Who says you can't wear black and look stylish?

How you all style an all black outfit?

Jacket - Primark
Top - New Look
Jeans - H&M
Boots - Deichmann

I never thought I'd be a person to say "I love wearing black" but over the first few months of the autumn season, it has been my go to colour. The simplicity of it all just makes it so aesthetically pleasing. My wardrobe is literally filled will all black items and I'm currently creating a collection of black bottom/trousers/jeans and let me just say, its turning out well.

Good news for me though, my uni application has been sent and I've already got a portfolio viewing and interview, like 5 minutes ago!! I'm so happy as I have been praying for this to happen, just hoping I can get some more over the next couple of  weeks.
How are you all doing? Hope you're all well and once again, sorry for the lack of posts... laziness and school work has taken over again. I also thought that my camera was broken so I stopped taking pictures. Thankfully, its working again but I'll be investing in a DSLR camera by the end of the year so expect more pictures and better quality ones.

I'm also starting to love my natural hair in this style and since my hair has grown, I'm more comfortable having it out. It will be back in a protective style soon but for now, this will have to do.

Enjoy...

LFW Street Style Part 1

Over the years the phenomenon of fashion week for most people has shifted to be about what kind of outfits are people putting together for the week. This year I went simply for the people. I could see a lot of trendy individuals all around Somerset House posing for the press as well as being able to see some of the people that I usually see on my computer. The best part of it all was probably being able to talk to Shope Delano from London's Closet. She is such a sweet girl and I loved taking selfie's with her, seeking advice about University, and interviewing her for my media project which I will start working on soon. I hope September id being good to you all and you're all enjoying the surprisingly good weather.

Enjoy..

P.S, I'm thinking about doing a couple of photo-shoots for my portfolio because all my University options require a portfolio viewing for acceptance. So if any photographers, hairstylists, make-up artists and model want to do a test shoot for your portfolio, provided you live in London, Essex, or near Buckinghamshire (or if you would be willing to travel to one of those locations), send me an email to: yvetteisboateng3@gmail.com

Deceiving forecast made me do it..

Kimono: Primark
Boots: New Look

Guys, let me tell you. Weather forecasts can be incredibly deceiving. The one day I decide to give my leather jacket a brake because I was informed about the sun appearing, it ends up being one of the coldest days of the week.
Anyway, who else is excited about LFW tomorrow? I am super hyped!!
I'll be going with my friend whereby I'll be shooting a lot of content on Saturday for my blog and media project solely based around bloggers and some other things so stay tuned for all of that. I'm still stuff on my outfit based on the fact the weather was very deceiving and frustrating, I don't know what to do?? We'll see how I'm feeling that day.

Enjoy this post!
