Adding colour to my outfits this season has been a complete myth for some reason. Black has clearly won me over. However, when I spotted this jumper in Primark, I just needed to have it. Paring it with a plain, white, crisp shirt gave it a smart yet casual look that I absolutely adored and received a lot of compliments from. 

The new time zone is really not on my side as it gets so dark easily and I come home late because I usually stay in the library after school to revise. Oh well, this will have to do.

Hey guys. How is your week going so far? 
Here is just a ootd post of me just before I was going to work. I love my new job and my uniform is so cute and simple and easily something I'd wear on a daily basis so that's a plus. I literally cannot believe I'm back at school *sigh*, last year so I got to do even better this year. 

 On another note, I can't believe I actually managed to do my own havana twist hairstyle, it turned out better than I expected and was much quicker to do than I though. DIY hair styles from now on, much cheaper right. That's until I want to get weave done... 
PS sorry for the picture overload, I just loved the pictures my brother took, he's getting so good at it.

Today I thought I'd do a bit of trend updating even though some of them are pretty obvious. These were just a couple of things I selected whiles making a Polyvore set.

As I mentioned before, these were just a few picks from Polyvore so I'm sure there is much more variety of items you could choose from. Since leather is just generally a warm material (faux or not), playing around with it can be really fun. Although the green leather jacket is too pricey for me (and probably most people) I love the colour of it and I think it is a fun way to play with leather, just so the top half of your outfit is not too dull. Leather skirts are very trendy, especially the skater and pleater leather skirts. They can be both edgy and girl at the same time - 2 in one item definitely worth investing in.

I have personally been loving wearing chunky ankle boots boots mainly because they are so comfortable (well, at least mine are) and they can dressed up or down. As the weather in most parts of the world, wearing gorgeous ankle boots seems to be the way forward as it is practical, comfortable, and just plain sexy.
